Rob Wright
I first met Shawna-Kaye in 2005 on a warm Jamaican evening in Montego Bay. We were both winners of the Childnet Academy, an international competition promoting the positive users of the Internet by young people. The enthusiasm, passion and charisma she demonstrated surrounding her idea of this site, a community for sharing stories of how education is so valuable, made a huge impression on me. Upon my return to the UK, I took up the challenge of developing Shawna-Kaye's concept into reality.
Do consider sharing your story with us. Whether you have faced great adversity throughout your life, or have simply embraced your opportunities wholly, your thoughts will undoubtedly inspire and encourage others.
Thank you for taking the time to look around this site. Although modest in size at present, I have great hopes for the development of this community: networking young people worldwide who are united in their passion for education. Don't hesitate to contact me with any enquiries you may have, technical or otherwise.
