About the site

Eagles Breakaway was founded in 2005 and has a varied history spanning multiple continents.

There was once a chick that lived in a backyard with many other chicks; he was just a ‘backyard chicken’. He would often stay at his position in the backyard and look up at the eagles that would fly over the backyard, wishing that he too could go that high. It seemed great and majestic so high up but of course he could not fly and so he would never be able to see and soar as the eagles did. Well, sadly the chick grew and died, having never soared. The saddest part was that, in fact, this chick was an eaglet in the midst of many backyard chicks. But he never knew. He looked around at what and who he saw and decided that he should never fly because surely it would never be possible if everything around him dictated that he couldn't.
